Blood and water fuel Maasai warriors' marathon

These Maasai warriors are running in the London Marathon in their traditional clothing and car-tire sandals, carrying shields and spears, to raise money to find a vital water source they desperately need to access to help their tribe. They normally run for hours on end just to look for water dressed precisely like this. I can barely run a mile without getting tired (which I seriously need to work on, homigod), so I'm insanely impressed at anyone who even thinks they cana manage a marathon, much less in traditional tribal garb.

I like the fact that their traditional garb includes an item made from car tires.
