1. It's going to be sunny and seventy today, so of course today is the first day of my shift. Dear Flying Spaghetti Monster, please wield your noodly appendage and see about getting me another week of layoff, 'kay?

2. Okay, are you kidding? There are people who think Jim buying a ring after a week is creepy? Seriously? It isn't like they met on a blind date. They've been best friends for years. She's known how he felt for two seasons. He left because he couldn't stand to see her marry someone else and it broke his heart. She called off her wedding because of him. If there's one couple on TV for which this isn't creepy, it's these two. (Now, Noah and Ameera on the other hand ... EW.) Hell, I'm amazed he didn't go running off to the jewelry store on the first DAY.

And the next time I see someone say that Pam's face after he walked away meant that she doesn't want to get engaged my head may explode. Who jokes with their boyfriend about getting engaged when you don't want to? That's how you run the risk of a man you don't want to get engaged to proposing to you at halftime at a Lakers game in front of twenty thousand people.

3. OW. Ow, ow, ow. I hope the Aleve kicks in soon because I'm having tons of stomach cramps.

4. My kitchen is completely and totally clean except for the vacuuming, but shut up. So of course now I really want to cook something and ruin it.

5. I have some color because I went out and sunbathed yesterday. Maybe I'll do it again today so that I don't look ao much like a freakin' ghost. (At least I can tan. Jess is practically translucent. Heh.)

6. Also, art of male (human, duh) Disney characters in their underwear. Damn, those are gorgeous.

Oh yeah. Jim buying the ring...just...aww. Me and my sister were freaking out about how adorable he is. And that he's going to FAKE HER OUT like he did last night? By tying his shoe! Hah, mean but SO CUTE.

How about the TWoP recapper saying Jim was only borderline pathetic for buying the ring that early? (I know, I KNOW, I said I wasn't going to read TWoP anymore, but ... well.)

I don't want miserable! Don't we already get enough damn miserable on network TV? I want one normal happy couple, for crying out loud.

God, I know. I really don't get all this bitching about them. They're not overly schmoopy, they didn't instantly become self-contained and quit interacting with anyone else on the show--my top two complaints about fictional couples. They're just funny and cute. What the hell is everyone's problem?
