This is an interesting article regarding Noah and Luke's kiss yesterday.

So, I'm watching ATWT today and I catch another one of those lame scenes between Luke and Noah where they are talking about Ameera and Noah is saying, "You know I'd rather be with you, Luke, blah blah blah," when all of a sudden THEY START KISSING WITH TONGUE! Since we have been asking the press reps at Procter & Gamble to make sure and flag any moments of real closeness between these two so that we can in turn alert our readers, I naturally think, "Maybe I missed something." So I go flying down the hall to Digest editor Stephanie Sloane's office, and, lo and behold, ATWT editor Jennifer Lenhart is in there raging. "I am steaming mad!" said Jen. "I mean, I'm happy about the fact that Luke and Noah had another kiss, but I just did a whole interview with Executive Producer Chris Goutman, about 10 minutes of which was wasted on a coy back-and-forth about when they're going to kiss again! A little heads-up would have been nice."
I totally agree. So I came back to my office and emailed the publicist asking why on EARTH they didn't flag that big ole kiss to us, and I swear to God, here was her response: "We've been telling Luke and Noah's story in a sensitive, respectful way and their romance has evolved over time. Luke and Noah kissing is a natural progression of their relationship, it's not an ‘event' or something to be publicized." I wrote her back, "NO YOU HAVEN'T AND NO IT'S NOT." Are these people kidding? The day after Martha Byrne's last airdate as Lily, amidst a sea of bad press and hard feelings from ATWT fans all over the country (never mind the anger of their own actors), they showcase a must-see scene and don't tell a soul? It's not even like you can catch this EVENT if you missed it, because ATWT doesn't air on SOAPnet! What can I tell you? It's just another chapter for my book... SIGH.
See, this is what pisses me off most about this whole controversery. TPTB keep saying over and over and OVER again that it's a natural progression and this is the way romance develops and lo, let's talk about the birds and the bees and how gay boys just hold hands and cuddle for months on end because love is magical and wonderful blah blah bullshitcakes.
I'll repeat exactly what Carolyn Hinsey said.
NO YOU HAVEN'T AND NO IT'S NOT.
