That "black name" thing is very interesting to me. My youngest sister's name is Riana. Over the summer, the singer Rihanna became very popular - and suddenly, EVERY TIME I mention my sister, someone says either, "Seriously? That's her name? That's so BLACK!" or (yikes) "Seriously? That's her name? That's so GHETTO."

The owner of the fan history wrote a program that harvested all the names from ff.net - that's how she found you.

When I made a comment about being on the wiki on my lj, I got a lot of comments to the effect of partly bouncy being nuts.

Would you happen to know, did the owner perhaps also harvest names other ways? I'm not on FF.net, but think I might be on fan history: a search for my name shows:

Celeste, a member of the Blake's 7 fandom

...though clicking through just gives you that the page for that person hasn't been created yet. I gave a well-known (at least among B7 fandom) con back in the day. And I have stories on a private site only as "Celeste" -- so I wondered if that might not be me.

Please edit your fan history page properly.
That means, either use it to your benefit, (all google hits are good google hits) or follow the directions to get it deleted.

If you blank it, you get banned and your page left as it is.
