Well, when I use my keychain Sharpie to deface the Snuggle in the grocery store, I always give it mean eyebrows and a goatee. So I 'll have to go with "boy."

I think SB is a boy mainly because he doesn't have long eyelashes and doesn't wear a bow in his "hair", two of the most common signifiers for "female" in animated anthropomorphic animals.
