-- Germany unveiled a memorial Tuesday to the Nazis' long-ignored gay victims, a monument that also aims to address ongoing discrimination by confronting visitors with an image of a same-sex couple kissing.

-- In other news, the working title of my I Taught Your Boyfriend That Thing You Like-esque novel -- currently at, um, five paragraphs in length -- is "Keep Talking Shit, You're Making Me Famous." Obviously that will probably not be the title in the end, but hell, it fits for now.

Also, I should maybe stop taking story titles from T-shirt slogans.

(I don't even know why I'm writing this. It's probably not even publishable. And I've already got another novel to work on. ARGH. Why the hell am I even beating myself over this? If I want to write something, I shouldn't be kicking myself in the ass over it constantly. And yes, this is what it's sounded like in my head the past few days.)

-- Why do I still have the TV Tunes station on when it's playing the Full House theme? I'm not patient enough to wait through the whole thing, damn it.

-- I only have to work two days this week because I took two vacation days for Hershey. Woohoo!

-- The cat wants me to play Fetch with him. Of course, it would maybe help if he'd actually bring back his stuffed cow when I throw it. Le sigh.

Have you tried attaching a string to the stuffed cow? That way not only can you get it back, but he might have fun pouncing on it as it skitters across the floor.

They've got a momument to gay victims of the Holocaust in Amsterdam. It's a triangular slab of marble sticking out into a canal.

When my cousin Brandon graduated from his dance school, there was a recital, and the theme of his piece was the Nazi's gay victims.

Yay Berlin!

And while I agree that it looks odd it is supposed to continue the theme of the Jewish Holocaust memorial in Berlin which are gray blocks that range from being short on the edges of the memorial and very tall inside. *shrugs* I thought the Jewish memorial was WTF before I walked through it so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt for their funky looking design.

BTW, on another topic I thought that ITYBTTYL was hilarious and awesome and think that the working title is great.
