I liked Signature but that kid's just awesome. And he came back after getting kicked off last season, which I give him major props for.

Awesome! Though I'd say that wasn't the kid's greatest performance (he looked a little exhausted) I'm sure he was great. Do they have a British So You Think You Can Dance?

He was pretty emotional after they announced he won -- he was on last year but didn't make it to the finals, and he's made a point both years of saying how his family's really broke and how he has to dance on the streets to pay for lessons and stuff. So this is seriously one of those times when winning a reality show is a life-changing thing. He's totally earned a freak-out. :)

It's really awesome looking at his performances from last year and his performances from this year. You can really tell he went home and practiced his ass off. And the original version of this routine was better.

Also, I'm not sure if there's a SYTYCD in Britain, but then again I don't follow it, so. *shrugs*

I know! I saw his face and giggled because he was so freaked. It was very very adorable.

I am kind of ridiculously squishy about people who like, come to auditions, get rejected one year and then come back again the next and get through either to a further audition or the finals. I think it appeals to my ridiculous sense of cultural underdog-ishness that's ingrained in the Australian psyche.

We used to have a simillar (ish) show called 'Strictly Dance Fever,' though the format was quite different, iirc. (Not like Pop Idol/American Idol, Britan/America's Got Talent.) It got scrapped after two seasons, in favour of the 'finding a new Maria, Joseph, Nancy and Oliver' show.

Have they started So You Think You Can Dance again? I loved it last year, but keep forgetting to check if it's on again.
