A few random things

apocalypsos-- Thank you guys so much for the little pep talk yesterday. I needed that. :)
-- You know my high school friend whose husband left her? I had a dream the other night that I called her and asked if she wanted to hang out together, and we went out one night and it was completely obvious that I'd gotten more open and less shy and she hadn't changed at all since high school. Which, you know, whatever.
-- I was going to leave early and go somewhere to try and write, but the skies just opened up for a huge fuck-off thunderstorm so I guess I'm stuck here for another two and a half hours until I have to leave for work.
-- Oh, speaking of work, you know what's awesome? Catching a huge mistake that two different shifts didn't even notice for five separate HUGE orders. I felt like a million bucks after that, which was a good thing because the rest of last night sucked on toast. It's one thing to have to work with someone who's inept and lazy, it's another thing entirely if their idea of a good time -- seriously, the woman who rides to work with him told me he finds it hilarious -- is to fart constantly for twelve straight hours. I didn't even know it was possible to fart for twelve straight hours, but apparently he can because I didn't breathe out of my nose for the entire shift. Um, EW.
-- HA, the thunderstorm is making the cat clingy as hell. As soon as a big flash of lightning struck maybe a block away, Otis crawled onto the back of the butterfly chair and wrapped himself around my neck like a mink stole.
