I'd like to comment on this week's Doctor Who but I can't stop making these happy squealing noises.

Newborn twins tip the scales at a combined 23 pounds, 1 ounce. Awwww, ginormous babies!

You know how I mentioned making a comm for cheerleading-original-novels purposes? Well, [livejournal.com profile] poisontaster reminded me that we've got [livejournal.com profile] getherwordzout lying around just such a reason -- which, heh, I completely blanked on it -- so, er, yes.

I'm thinking of taking a wee bit of a mental health weekend from the internet for the next few days or so. I just ... I don't know, I think I'm a bit burned out by fandom at the moment. If my current fandoms aren't pretty much dead at the moment they're a string of wank since their season finale. (Okay, so that's just the one. SIGH.)

But, yes. If I'm not around much or at all for the next couple of days, that will be why. I mean, seriously, if I spend half of last night at work thinking vaguely about being somewhat personally insulted about something I read on another journal that didn't even have anything to do with me, I need to step away from the internet.

And hey, maybe that'll help me focus more on making a dent in my unfinished novels. That, and the word count bar graph on my dry erase board. And the long sheet of paper I'm about to put on my office wall for note-taking purposes. And the fact that I've managed to keep my apartment clean for a record number of days at this point so I don't have to think about that.

haven't watched DW yet. I fear it will distract me massively from some SGA writing, but er, I am letting myself get distracted by T4 stuff on the net. I fail at focus!

Oh, man, it was SO GOOD. Definitely not the sort of episode you'll want to watch when you want to keep focused on something else. :)

After I watched last night, I spent the first few minutes too shocked to even think. After that, I flipped the hell out, now I'm somewhere between giddy elation and sheer dread. Knowing there's not going to be another DW season until 2010 and that it's not certain whether David Tennant is returning, well...

I'm happy AND scared.

...and SO HAPPY that Rose has finally eased up on the eye makeup. OMG SO GORGEOUS. ♥♥♥
