Dec. 19th, 2003 02:09 amEnded my day at work feeling exhausted, sick, and planned on a complete, all-encompassing coma scheduled to last from the second I walked in the apartment door to eight a.m. Then my boss let me have a Metabolife.
Immediately came home, baked my maple nut log recipe x5, straightened up the living room, swept the kitchen, and generally bounced around the place like a Tigger on crack for five hours straight.
And my cookies came out pretty good. I do wish my mother had mentioned the fact that you end up with an enormous amount of maple frosting at the end, though. I'm pretty sure I had enough left over to completely cover and lick off of the entire cast of LOTR three times over. I did the math and everything.

Date: 2003-12-18 11:23 pm (UTC)Every time I've tried taking those, it yielded no tangible energy boost. Same for sugar highs; I don't get those, either. And caffeine seems to make me sleepier instead of keeping me awake.
