From Not Always Right ...
Jun. 29th, 2008 02:12 pm*snickers*
(I’ve just spent about 10 minutes answering fairly standard questions from a customer about an iPod. Then, they asked this one…)
Customer: “Oh, before you leave I have one more question!”
Me: “Sure, what can I help you with?”
Customer: “Will the iPod get heavier if I put more songs on it?”
Me: “No…?”
(I was so dumbfounded I didn’t realize how stupid the question actually was until 10 minutes later.)

Date: 2008-06-29 09:29 pm (UTC)Yes. Yes it will. Its a standard gain of 1.674 gm per mb, so we recommend weight training and health assessment if you're planning on going with anything larger than 1gb. Also? Were you aware of the risk to yourself in that playing music can cause stimulation of brain cells? We do recommend to customers with less than three to proceed with caution, as this has been known to lead to the side effects of 'thought' ..or in some cases head explody. Its a tragic occurrence and I feel duty bound to warn you.
