Am watching the SVU marathon ...

... and am once again reminded that as much as I love my entire family, I'd like to rent them out to other people, since their response to "I'm getting a sex-change operation!" or "I'm marrying someone of the same sex!" would be a group shrug and a resounding, "Okay. Want me to bring a keg to the party?"

Yeah, my parents are like that too (well maybe not the Keg part). Basically the only sex/love/marriage related thing I could do that would earn me disapproval from my mother is sleeping with a married man (or woman).

In fact, in the past two weeks, since I've been visiting home, my mother has mentioned at LEAST four times, "You know, it's okay if you're gay, right, either of you?"

I am pretty sure she doesn't think I am, but it's so so nice that they are super supportive of just the possibility.

That's what I love about my family, too. XD Minus the keg cause my parents can't drink...lol. (Dad takes too many meds and my mom is actually allergic, wtf.)

In fact, I'm pretty sure my dad would be overjoyed if I decided to marry a woman instead of a man. Still not sure of the why on that...
