Ben Stein says he knows how Sen. John McCain can win in November: Karl Rove.

That's right, that Karl Rove.

Look, I don't like John McCain, but even I don't think he'd be dumb enough to hire Karl Rove these days. (Now watch him go and prove me wrong. Sigh. Is this election over with yet?)

All the spoilery reports out of Comic-Con are making me giddy for the fall TV season again. And I was all happy just being overly obsessive over two versions of Project Runway there for a while. Heh. :)

Out of the five recalled toys, I've had 3 of em in my life, Skydancers (I use to aim it at my sister and then laugh hysterical when she'd get him...damn foam wings were frigin knife sharp when they were coming atcha), KinderSurprise (The chocolate is shitty) and EasyBake oven (a 70-100 watt bulb in a plastic/metal childs toy...genius, eh?I still have some of the marks from the times I touched the oven while it was on)

I got an EasyBake oven about Christmas, 1969 (yeah, showing my age, aren't I?), and had it take away from me to the attic by Valentines Day.

Did you know that back then, you couldn't buy the little refill kits for the 'cakes', so you would get desperate for *anything* to put in the little bugger?

Did you know that baking 4 balloons in an EasyBake oven will fill an entire 2 story house with thick, black, choking smoke?

Me either. :-(

Ben Stein is on my list of people I used to kind of admire, who I now would kind of like to punch in the face.

(*hums* I never claimed to be a good person.)

You see McCain's campaign? He did hire Rove, because he can't win without him (along with voter fraud, voter suppression, and voting machines rigged in his favor). As for Rove, he needs to be tthe pet of another administration to avoid a lengthy prison term.

Yeah, I think I blocked that out. Either that or I shouldn't post when half asleep. ;)

I do political round-up posts every few weeks if you want to check them out, or just feel the need to be really depressed. ;)

Hee. Kinder Surprise is one of the things I am REQUIRED to bring with me every time I make a trip to visit friends in the States. I mean, yeah, the chocolate itself is hardly gourmet, but they're FUN. I'm sad that American kids were deemed too stupid to handle them :(
