Boy howdy it's been loud and scary here tonight. If you look at our radar you'll see why. But most of the worst now seems headed out over the lake. This is one of those times when I wouldn't mind living along Lake Shore Drive so I could watch the storm play out over the water.

I'm out in Portage Park, and it was... intense. We got the sirens about eight twenty, and fled downstairs with the cats.

There was a tornado just a few feet OFF OF THE GROUND in the parking lot of my work.

We lost power, the sirens went off then...BAM! Tornado.

Scared the crap out of me.
