ACK. Ok, I went and spoiled myself, too.

Dear Helen: DIAF.

Dear Mark: come back and be awesome! And bring your ice cream hair!

What really pisses me off is that I genuinely loved Helen's dress. It turned out SO GOOD and looked goddamn adorable, and for once it didn't look as if she was trying to be mediocre, although she had damn good reason not to be this time. (Don't want to spoil you too much more. :))

Siiiiiiigh. Ok, not looking for more spoilers. But. MAAAAAAAARK.

Now who do I have to be excited about? I mean, Petrova, ok, but her stuff is always quirky enough that it Might Not Be OK, and the others are kind of meh for me. :-|

No, no, be excited about Petrova. Her contribution works out very well. And be excited for Brent, if for no other reason than he's happy for what he gets to make and it's nice to see. (The construction's iffy, but he's growing on me so it's nice to see him happy.)

Oh, and if you like drama, Juli's got some juicy drama going on.

... okay, it's really hard not spoiling this episode. I have to be SO vague. :)

Ok, no more spoiling :) My roommate and I are only through episode 3...

But still! I am v.v. unhappy about Mark. Sigh.

Aaaaaaagh! We were doing the same thing. Noo! But, yes! But, oh, no! But Petrova! Yay!

We keep calling Helen 'Wendy' by mistake. I think we've given up now. She is Wendy Pepper.

God, didn't Petrova look HOT? Somewhere between the dress and the awesome heavy bangs she looked gorgeous. (I hate to say it, but Helen really did deserve that win.)

Evil older self-taught hack with an adorable small blond daughter ... she totally is, she's Wendy Pepper with an Australian accent.

Petrova was gorgeous! I love how she knew what looked good on her, knew how best to show her own style, and then managed to convince Helen that it was all Helen's idea in the first place.

I'm worried that the judges have a real commercial bias, which is why they keep rewarding Helen for her safe, conventional stuff.

I totally agree. They keep congratulating the designers for their commercial pieces, which yeah designers do need to make some ready to wear, and yes that fits some of the challenges, but these judges do seem to be very conservative. It would be interesting to see what they make of some really avant garde (even more so than the car challenge, because to me those designs were 'out there' because of the materials rather than by intention) designs if the contestants were ever given a challenge to showcase that.

Okay, I just finally got around to watching the episode and I want to know one thing. What am I supposed to do without My adorable little Mark and his swirly ice cream hair?! WHAT?! I yelled so loud I think the neighbors heard. So not okay. And really? The outfit wasn't the most amazing thing to ever walk down the runway, but Juli's was just plain BAD.

I think Juli's was on equal footing in the badness level, but Mark had to make menswear, for crying out loud. He should have gotten higher marks for degree of difficulty, seriously.

I just keep reminding myself that at least we have Petrova and her adorable hat and sexy heavy bangs back. *clutches her to my chest*
