Okay, seriously, why did this not win?

WHAT THE FUCK, YOU GUYS.

I mean, look at that thing. You can't even see the amazing brilliance of those sleeves. She held out her arms walking down the runway and I kinda started screaming my head off. It was astounding, and awesome, and Terri earned that win.



Except this one won.

Okay, look, it's not that I hate it. I really think it's great, and it's exactly what Joe's client wanted -- she asked for Ann-Margret on the Love Boat and seriously, look at that thing -- and it turned out beautifully. But Terri's kicks its ass into next week. Honest to God.



And this is the other one in the top three, which I include because it might not have won but definitely deserves notice.

I think that Terri and Korto have won so many weeks in a row that they had to vary it up a bit. it was an entertainment decision. that's show biz.

i'm having terrible trouble remembering what they said would happen next week... i usually remember the promos. do you remember?

and i'm going to be working the conventions during next week's & the finale of shear genius!! so sad daniel went home, i am usually on team dee but even i have to agree that she has been doing all the same thing recently... which means charlie will probably win, which is sad because from what i understand he's actually just about as famous in the industry as the guest judges and has a huge advantage over the others.

But Terri hasn't won anything yet. She keeps coming close to winning but not actually winning.

They're making something from parts, it looks like. They go to a parking garage and then the entire work room is filled with stuff that's definitely not normal fabric.

she hasn't? i could have sworn she has won challenges before. whoops. :is dork, fails: but she and korto are always in the top 3 at the very least. no one else designs the way those two do.

Nope, Kenley beat her in the New York challenge, Korto beat her in the Olympic challenge, and Joe beat her in this challenge. I think she had the best chance of winning in this one, though.

I love that the black girls are the ones kicking ass this season.

indeed. they are a cut and a half above the rest imho. i wouldn't be surprised if terri won the whole thing... it's always the quiet ones, no? she is consistently made of awesome.

have to nitpick with downthread, i think leanne is a genius in a quiet package. i mean, she keeps sort of whispering these total zingers, and her skirt on that new york challenge was perfection.

I think Leanne just needs to get comfortable and stop being so nervous. She's not as antsy as Daniel when she's stressed, but you can tell when she is and her work falls apart when she is.

She did do a really great dress last night, too. I completely forgot but, yeah, that was one of the other ones I liked.
