Go look at secret #110.

Oh, God, I'm having fic bunnies. *headdesk*

Wouldn't it be hilarious if I just started making all of the fictional men I like be really good at sewing in fanfic?

Now that I think about it, tell me there's a fic out there somewhere where Jayne takes up knitting. And if not, one of you who knits should write it for me for my birthday. Mmm-hmm.

EDIT: I'm rewatching this week's Project Runway. Leanne is so freaking adorable. That bit where she does that thing that one time? She looks like a little girl playing and I kinda love her bunches.

...and now I have a vision of a Stitch n' Bitch featuring the Joker, Elim Garak, and Rorschach. Jayne can come too.

You could totally make it a Project Runway crossover.:)

I don't write fanfic, but I'd more than happily knit a Jayne hat and send it to you for your birthday. Every Firefly fan should have one. : )

Yeah, but... he told all the mob bosses it was expensive! And, okay, maybe he meant all the fabric cost a lot, but I like to think the lack of labels is explained by its having been tailored.

I also kind of like to think that the Joker's one concession to decent human behaviour is that he pays his tailor. Oh, and holds still during fittings.

I too have this deep and abiding fondness for men who can sew. And cook. Oh, man.

The Joker would be the best ProjRun villain EVER.

Hey, they've already had Santino and Jeffrey. Things need to be stepped the hell up.

I dunno, now I'm kind of stuck on a mental scene of the Joker sewing his nurse's outfit.

Let's see -- I've run across the brief comic about Jayne's knitting mother in Alliance custody, at least a couple-three stories about Jack Harkness having learned to knit in WWII (or WWI, even), and then canonically movie Peter Parker sewed his own Spidey suit(s). Oh, and just last week I ran across the story about the Atlantis chapter of Stitch n Bitch.
