A problem for the ages

I have to leave for work in ten minutes.
Otis just hopped up into my lap, curled up, and is now purring himself to sleep while kneading my thigh with his paws.
You cat owners realize my dilemma. I may be stuck here FOREVER.

Date: 2008-09-08 02:03 am (UTC)I think my favorite is what mine does every morning. I sleep mostly on my stomach, so her normal favorite resting spot (which is slowly being changed with in between my shoulder blades, wtf?) is between my knees. When my alarm goes off in the morning, she flies off the bed to stand in front of where I keep it across the room, so she can yell at it quite spectacularly.
"No! You're making my cushion move ... she's up, look at what you did!"
