I always loved Damon, but now I also respect him. When I saw that I just wanted to hug him.

Mmmmmmmatt Damon. As far I am concerned, the only vague taint on Damon is his once friendship with Ben Affleck, who is just too skeevy (and no amount of being married to squeky clean Garner is gonne erase that), but thankfully Damon has been putting that era behind him, and keeps getting better with age. Exhibit One: that clip. Exhibit Two: The Bourne-movies, and The Ocean series.

And yes, he makes good points. A few weeks back Palin as practically unknown, and now she cound become Vice-/President, and yet media is being kept from criticising her or about inquiring about beliefs and policies. I mean, what? (Pandagon.net has a good coverage/news blurbs about Palin, including one about Russia worth reading, and no, it isn't the one where you can totally see Russia from Alaska.)
