apocalypsosSo a few years back I tried to use Ameridebt to pay off all of my outstanding debt which ... yeah, I couldn't afford that, either. So after a while, I gave up and forgot about it. Fast forward to today, when I go up my parents's house and my mother says, "Oh, you have a check from Ameridebt here."
... huh?
Well, it turns out that the FTC filed a class action lawsuit against them for hidden fees and lying about being a non-profit, and that's how I ended up with a surprise check for $36.70. Woohoo! \o/
In other news, I've only written a handful of words this weekend, the commercials for The Rachel Zoe Project are not making me like her any more than the profound annoyance I already have, and my apartment is ridiculously hot. Also, I have another long overtime week coming up and hopefully I'll get to do it all over again next week. Eh, I'll sleep when overtime's over. *sigh*
