This morning, you finished off the milk left over from my cereal. Then you begged for some of the chicken from my chicken barbecue dinner. But baby, I can guarantee you that as much fun as "I want what Mommy's having!" can be, you do not want a chocolate brownie with marshmallow frosting. Really.

Yes he does. He definitely wants it. He may not want to eat it once he's got it and licked it a bit, but that's not important. You've got it; he wants it. That's how it goes. :)

You never know he might have liked some brownie. One of the cats I'm cat sitting ate the frosting I scraped off a piece of cake, plus the little bits of cake stuck in the container it came in.

Then again there is very little that cat wont eat.

Umm, people do realize that chocolate is deadly to cats and dogs right? It's more of a problem with dogs because cats don't usually like the taste of it. But they shouldn't be given chocolate, just in case.

Chocolate contains a compound called theobromine, which can be harmful to humans too if allowed to build up enough. It's not a problem with humans because of our metabolism--I think I've read you'd have to eat about 50 pounds of chocolate really fast to have any ill effect. But cats and dogs process this chemical a lot less efficiently than we do.

well it wasn't chocolate cake the cat ate, or chocolate frosting. And my old roommates dog got into a box of oreo cakesters while we weren't home, ate the whole thing and lived. i know it's bad for them, but it doesn't effect all of them the same way.
