apocalypsosSo, this is my preparatory NaNoWriMo post. It comes in four parts.
1. What I'm doing for NaNo: I'm deciding right now between the OH TP NO story I didn't get to work on the other weekend, which is actually turning into something fun in my head, and the superhero gossip columnist. But they're both the kind of stories I don't really have to plot out so much as trip through. Heh.
2. What you're doing for NaNo: Are you doing NaNo? Tell meeeeeee. *curls up next to you and beams* Whatcha writin'? :)
3. Wait, what do you mean you're not doing NaNo?!: Say, those of you who write fic but aren't doing NaNo ... why not? Aw, come on, you guys, join in. If I'm doing it, and I won't be able to write during my four-day stretches of work so I'm pretty much only working with two weeks of writing time when you think of it, then you can do it too. And if you've never done it before, it's the fun kind of stress, trust me. Yes, even you, the one who just writes butt-tons of slashy fiction but never anything original.
4. You should do NaNo because Dean Winchester did NaNo: Trufax. If only in fanon.

In the summer of 1974 Jensen Ackles discovered himself.After low sales for their latest album, *insert band name* has been approached with the idea of bringing rock guitar sensation Jared Padalecki in to help with a new album. Padalecki is known for his jaw dropping antics, partying and the fact he's bedded more women than Mick Jagger. Jensen hates him on site. But series of events lead these two musicians to learn there's more to life than sex, money and fame.

Jared is a shy, awkward and virginal geek boy whose strong morals attract the attention of his roommate who has more or less redefined the word promiscuity with a rebellious attitude and the urge to change his hair color every other week. Worlds clash and tempers flare when these roommates go head to head over their attraction. **I have this huge plot in my head.
Any ideas?
