Oh, my God, I'm so tiiiiiired.
Nov. 7th, 2008 03:16 pmWhy do I keep agreeing to take so much overtime that I end up working seven twelve-hour days in a row? Seriously?! I know it's for the money, but can't they just give me the money and let me go home and take a nap? *yawns*
In any event, I have tomorrow off, a day of overtime Sunday, and then two more days off. Hopefully while I'm at work I can weasel another day of overtime out of the boss, although I doubt it. I'm hoping I can bump up how much I make this quarter so when they start giving out two-week-long layoffs come January, I can just stay home and drink lots of hot tea while it snows and write until my fingers fall off.
Now I'm off to watch SPN.

Also, I friends-locked the post I first put this button in because ... well, hell, I can't even remember why right now (probably because I'm not even close to being in the financial position of being able to say no), BUT. Since there were a couple of people who offered to toss a few bucks my way for my teeth (and thank you SO MUCH for offering -- I had a fun nightmare today where all my teeth just randomly started crumbling, which ... funcakes) ...

Date: 2008-11-07 10:59 pm (UTC)I'd like to give you some useful word, but honestly, they suck. My worst (most upsetting) nightmares ever have involved my teeth, and it usually doesn't even correspond to particularly current dental problems, just a general collection of everything that has ever happened to my teeth and all the things that I imagine could happen. The worst is the recurring dream where my teeth fall out and I put them back in and try to hold my mouth closed and my tongue down so they don't fall out (because they're rotted underneath), and I am trying to keep track of them so the dentist can put them all back in for me. And she always has this disappointed look on her face, too, when I go into her office, open my mouth, and spit six or eight teeth into a bowl that I expect her to reattach. Ick.
So, yeah, dental nightmares. That's rough.
