A shelter dog? I think that would be awesome if they can manage to find one Malia's not allergic to.

(You have no idea how giddy this puppy makes me. You'd think *I* was getting the puppy. I have a new president I love, but OMG PUPPY! \O/)

... he answers questions. Without dodging all that much. And when he goes you get the idea it's not "oh, you won't like it" or "we haven't thought of that" but "we're still looking and we don't have an answer yet but when we do you'll know." And it's done intelligently and in full sentences with actual words.
