After typing up everything I had to for The Grand Prize Winner:



Later on I'm going to start going over the chapters I've already written to fix a few things I changed as I went along. I'm hoping to get as much of that done as possible before my four-day weekend rolls around on Sunday and I can spend those four days trying to finish as many chapters as possible. I figure two a day is fair, more if I can manage, but the first day I get done before noon I'm going to take the rest of the day off to write my Yuletide story. (The more I think about my Yuletide prompt the more I love it more than I would have thought when I signed up for it and I haven't even gotten to refresh myself on the source material yet.)

I really have to get Davis's voice back, I think. I know once I get his voice back I'll be fine when it comes to the rest of the characters. They're like the ones in the Books of Boggs -- once I get the lead's voice the rest of them trail after like happy puppies.

That reminds me. I want to go look over the Books of Boggs again sometime this week. Le sigh.

I am going to finish another book by the end of the year, I swear to GOD, and I am going to sell the FUCK out of it. \o/

Hey, maybe if I keep saying it this year, it'll actually happen! Heh. :)

Oh, and last night's rumor at work was that we're all going to come in for work tonight and get laid off.

If that happens, tonight we're all drinking. No, I don't care what YOU have to do. You're drinking with me. Mmm-hmm.
