I'm not going to get this on the show so oh, man, you know what I want? What I really really want? (Great, now I have that song in my head.)

I want a story where Chuck is Rufus and Lily's illegitimate love child given up for adoption (which, let's face it, is totally where that omgbigsecret plotline is going), and somehow he ended up with the Basses, and Mrs. Bass wanted him but Mr. Bass was like, "Meh," until they got him, and then the next day she had an aneurysm picking him up out of the crib or something, and Bart got mad and blamed the baby and told Chuck his mother died in childbirth or whatever, and we're going to end up finding out that Lily's mom pulled strings to get Chuck in with a rich family because then she knew they could find a way to see him all the time. Or something. Look, I don't know, okay? This plotbunny makes me HAPPY. Somebody else write it for me to Christmas.

so what can you tell me about chinchillas? i know you have a couple, and we fell in love with them at petsmart the other day. a guy is asking $100 rehoming fee for two chinchillas and all of their supplies. are they terribly difficult to care for/smelly/anything like that?

Actually, they're probably the cleanest pets I've ever kept. The worst is if you let changing their wood chips slide for a while, but then you can just get a damp wood-chip smell. They chew a LOT -- I toss in my toilet paper rolls when they get empty for a free chewie and they love 'em. They're the easiest pets I've ever cared for, too. The only problem I've ever had is catching them if I let them out. They hop away pretty quick if they want. :)
