Stupid commercials.

I hate diamonds. I'm not all that keen on other jewels, either, but I definitely hate diamonds. I can't tell the difference between this cut and that cut and this size and that size and WHATEVER, y'all, I hate diamonds. There's a reason I like a lot of the jewelry I see on Etsy, because they're about handmade art as opposed to just throwing diamonds at things and seeing if they stick. And let's not even get to where they come from.

And yet for all of that, I loathe jewelry commercials even more. No, damn it! Get me the vacuum instead! Do you know how many books a tennis bracelet could buy?!

EDIT: Speaking of things I hate, I hope I never see the trailer for Bride Wars again.

I just realized that the three books I most want to work on next year all feature female leads. Heh. Well, if nothing else gets it out of my system, that'll do it. :)

I am really seriously loving Caught Running and I can think of a handful of people I want to send it to, except I don't want to let it out of my sight when I'm done. They're so cute!
