The rules for today and tomorrow are as follows:
1. No checking my word count. I'm just getting chapters done.
2. Every time I get a chapter done, I can watch another episode of CSI Miami. (What? It amuses me.)
3. While I'm watching, I still have to write bits here and there.
4. If I'm close to finishing by tomorrow night, I have to stay home and try to get it finished. If I'm not, I'm off to the bar like everybody else.
5. I can't watch the copy of Slumdog Millionaire or the first season of True Blood I got until I finish.
I felt sick last night and went to bed early, but I took the netbook with me so I could get more work done on the book. It wasn't as much as I'd like, but still.
