I still say my favorite thing about fandom_scruples is that any underage person looking for easy-to-access porn can find all their smutty needs met by simply going to fandom_scruples and looking up the blacklist.

"We've compiled a list of abominable writers who don't hide their horrific porn from your virgin eyes!"

"Gee, thanks, guys! It would have taken days to find these authors without your help!"

I maintain that the authors on the blacklist are responsible for fandom_scruples for two reasons:

1. fandom_scruples has compiled this handy-dandy list of porn writers whom they refuse to recommend.

2. The best way to make something desirable is to tell someone that it is forbidden.

If they had advertised the authors on the blacklist, there wouldn't have been nearly as much interest. This way, everyone gets to read the porn AND to do something that fandom_scruples would utterly loathe AND to feel that they are striking a blow against censorship at the same time.

It's absolutely bloody brilliant.
