It's always been my favorite, too. But I have to reassure myself at the end -- surely, if he can find books and canned goods that easily, he'l be able to find a magnifying glass or something.

Well, I'm blind as a bat without my glasses. But I know that if it was me, I'd be wandering around until I found the nearest drugstore rack of reading glasses. And if the landscape was at all familiar, it'd be sooner rather than later.

Yeah...theoretically he'd know his way around the area, but with none of the familiar landmarks still standing it'd be a lot more difficult to navigate.
