Jake! *hearts* The Curious Case of Benjamin Button clip. I still have to go see it.

Oh, here comes Drew's horrible hair. Are they going to make out? 'Cause they've been awfully snuggly all night.

Best Miniseries or TV Movie -- John Adams! I'm not surprised. Still have to see it.

Demi looks great. And heh, warning Rumer not to slouch. HEE.

Best Supporting Actor, Film -- Heath Ledger. Oh, man. *sobs*

Wait a minute. Confessions of a Shopaholic *trailer*?

They're making a movie from that gawdawful idiotic book?

Oh, yes. Isla Fisher's playing the lead. I haven't even read it and just hearing the title makes me cringe. Eh, no thanks.

It's typical chicklit of the worst kind. Dippy bimbo keeps buying designer crap even after she loses her job and goes into debt, hiding it from her friends and creditors, but it all works out in the end because she gets the handsome rich guy...and has such excellent taste she auctions her 'collection' off for more than she paid for all of it.

What clip did they use for Ledger's nomination? I've been trying to figure out which of the dozen scenes would make the cut in the end.

They showed a bit of the interrogation room scene where the Joker told Batman "you complete me," which got a bit of a laugh out of the crowd. Probably a good thing ... make 'em laugh or pass out tissues.

That's a good choice. I figured it'd either be part of the interrogation or his scene in front of the burning pile of money.

But there's just so much GOOD in that movie. Seriously, if they used the scene him waddling out of the hospital in the nurses uniform and pounding on the detonator it would have been awards-caliber.

You know, I don't much like Tom Cruise, but it sure looked like he was the first one on his feet for the standing ovation for Heath Ledger. Probably just a publicity thing, but that's pretty much when I started crying.
