Those last few minutes would have been a hell of a lot better if my CW feed wasn't constantly skipping. Jesus hopscotching fuck.
Okay, that creeped me right the hell out, you guys.
Although ... dude, seriously, what the hell?
Also, I'm starting to wonder if Dean's going to end up being the anti-Christ and Sam's going to have to stop him instead.
Heh. Good, bad, I'm just happy to have my show back. *snuggles with my boys*

Date: 2009-01-16 03:57 am (UTC)My problem is that I still have no freaking idea what happened to the girl. There was a sound, she disappeared, door opened, Dad was holding...something?
Then a shot where all I could see was her dead face. I mean, there is quite possibly such a thing as *too* dark when it comes to the lighting design.
Anyone care to fill in the blank?

Date: 2009-01-16 03:59 am (UTC)After she got pulled out you could hear her getting stabbed. Then the dad came in holding a bloody knife. The next we see of her, she's lying in the weeds on her back dead. My old TV made it really hard to see the dark episodes, but the new TV from last year makes everything nice and clear. :)

Thanks!

Date: 2009-01-16 04:15 am (UTC)What happened at the end? What happened in terms of story-arc?

Date: 2009-01-16 01:38 pm (UTC)And ironically this not only is the second episode she's managed to watch - it's the second where a dog has been killed.
I'm never getting her into my fandom at this rate.
Story-arc wise, still grappling with Dean's revelation about being a "willing" torturer in hell. He's doing his typical Dean thing...seeing it in black and white and beating the crap out of himself emotionally as a result.

Date: 2009-01-16 11:03 am (UTC)The best explanation I can come up with is that they were secretly watching tv for months or years before they killed daddy, which would explain the guns but not the writing (unless they were getting up early to watch Sesame Street before daddy woke up in the morning).
Then again, they didn't use the guns, so maybe they're just kleptos and it's a coincidence that they stole things which were important. And, um, the writing was in fact automatic writing. They're psychic and had no control over what they were writing, and it's only sheer dumb luck that the words were in any way relevant to the situation. :D
(And while I'm at it, the dog did not really die. The blood belonged to a rat; the dog sensibly ran away and went to live at Bobby's house.)

Date: 2009-01-16 08:06 pm (UTC)But they're really pushing something, and I wonder if it's not more than just angst. There's got to be something more to it than just angst, right? They wouldn't keep dragging it out like this if it was just angst...
