Ted Kennedy had a seizure at the inaugural dinner and had to be taken out on a stretcher. I'm hearing that he was still seizing when they took him out.

Robert Byrd was so upset he had to leave as well.

I hope they're both okay.

EDIT: Now it sounds like the incidents might have been separate. It's still worrisome.

Yeah it as confusing at first too, but I suppose Byrd left just because he'd not feeling too well (nothing new, just age).

The latest seems to be that Byrd was with Kennedy when it happened (They're friends) and left due to being upset.

Orrin Hatch gave an interview and said that he, Chris Dodd, and John Kerry escorted Kennedy to the ambulance--that he was able to talk but in a lot of pain. He seemed pretty upset, still. Teresa Heinz Kerry apparently tried to "administer assistance," whatever that means.

Am watching CBS, right now they're reporting that Teddy is alert and doing much better at the hospital, and will likely be released either tonight or tomorrow.
