A few comments ...
Mar. 1st, 2009 08:30 pm-- I adore the relationship between the redheads and Luke and Margie. They're very cute. (Although I was a bit annoyed by the redhead's attitude when their driver was being a moron. But I definitely can't argue that he was being a moron and they certainly had every right to be irritated. Her voice just started to grate after a while.)
-- I may be enjoying the fact that every episode this season seems to have That Roadblock Where People In Foreign Countries Laugh At The Silly Americans.
-- Amanda and Kris are so far too cute by half, and possibly may be the next coming of Kris and Jon, and I really like them a lot. I especially like that they freaked about the fanny pack disappearing but didn't go over the top and start yelling at each other.
-- Oh, thank God for Brad and Victoria making the Transylvania station crack I would have in their situation.
-- YAY FOR MEL AND MIKE! \O/ I love that Phil was like, "You've won a trip to Costa Rica!" and Mel was all, "Oh, that's his favorite place!" I really like that the two of them are pushing hard and getting lucky even with Mel's groin injury. They're smart and determined and it's working well for them so far.
-- Oh, Victor. Maybe you've learned your lesson to stop being a douche and start listening to Tammy. (And this brother-sister dynamic bullshit isn't your problem. My brother and I get along fine. I listen to him, he listens to me. Of course, neither one of us are stubborn asshats, so there's that.)
-- Aw, Brad and Victoria. I liked them. *pouts*
-- Next week: Nobody knows how to stack firewood. That's okay, I don't either. Also, Luke rides a wee little roller coaster and Margie continues to be an awesome, awesome mom.

Date: 2009-03-02 04:54 am (UTC)Amanda and Kris are adorable indeed, and I'm really glad that the fanny pack hadn't been stolen (or, y'know, accidentally dropped inside a barrel or a car muffler). They're in direct competition with Mel and Mike for my Feel-Good Team of the Race, doubly so because so very rarely does the young-straight-couple-team inspire the feel-good.
Watching the stuntman brother do the gymnastics was The Best Thing Ever. Watching Mike do the gymnastics was The Second Best Thing Ever.
(I'm still on the fence on whether I like Luke. On the one hand, his big shows of frustration irritate me; on the other hand, I know that he relies on body language to communicate what other people fume under their breath. I don't know whether I'm supposed to give him a pass for his irritation irritating me; I am, however, fairly sure that I'm thinking too hard about a reality TV star.) :-D
