Okay, by team ...

Christie and Jodi: WOW. After how badly they've been running the race so far, I'm really happy for them managing to crawl all the way up to first. Good for them, although I can't help thinking it's just a fluke. (Also, I loved them hugging their Siberian boy at the lumber. Heh.)

Kisha and Jen: Good for them. Not much else I can say, really.

Tammy and Victor: At least this week they've behaved better. I wonder if Victor took last week's adventures as a lesson.

Margie and Luke: Is it really bad or really nice that I've gotten into the habit of cheering in sign language when they're still in the race or when something good happens for them? It's one of the few things I remember how to do -- just raise my hands and shake 'em. ;) I'm not bothered by them using the Yield, but then again I never am. Usually people use it on stronger teams -- too many of these people take it as an insult when most of the time it's practically a compliment. It's not as often as these people seem to think that other teams use it on a team they dislike.

Jamie and Kara: I'm actually liking them better than I thought I would. I thought they did very well today, all things considered.

Mel and Mike: Hey, as long as they're still in, I have faith in them.

Mark and Michael: Oh, man, did they fuck up this week. I think the only reason I'm irritated we're keeping them is that Amanda and Kris were running a pretty good race without the Yield, whereas Mark and Michael were failing pretty miserably and dragged Mel and Mike and Amanda and Kris with them, it seemed.

Amanda and Kris: AWWWWW. Goddamn it, this is the only reason that I hate it when I generally like everyone. It sucks losing nice teams, although I will admit it was funny watching them ponder who Yielded them and fail miserably at figuring it out. Heh.

NEXT WEEK: Everybody finds out Luke eats kittens, punches nuns and Yields other teams, OH NOES. Then everybody gets almost naked. Oh, Evil!Luke, please work out more. Also, they didn't show him, but I can pretty much guarantee that staring directly at Mike during the Almost!Nekkid Challenge will be dangerous to your eyesight.

I'm really surprised by how much I like all the teams at this point in the season.

I'm really sorry to see Kris and Amanda go. They were just so sweet...and I like seeing a functioning relationship! But I totally understand why Luke did it. They were a strong team and the biggest threat on the race so far. Everyone is just sort of blundering along, which makes for good television. *g*

I know, right? Usually by now I have teams I cannot STAND who I would gleefully elbow off a cliff if given a chance. Right now, the only person whose behavior genuinely annoys is Victor, and that's only very occasionally, and I really do think he learned his lesson last week.

I'm glad about all the blundering, in my own way. All of the teams still around are competent in their own way, but luck, good or bad, is the most interesting factor for any team. I mean, really, I get SO bored when the same teams win first all the damn time. This is much more fun. :)
