I just saw a commercial on CMT for Knowing which referred to some movie review (presumably for some organization with the word "family" prominently featured) as calling it "a miracle of faith and family unity" while referencing every shot with a Christian/Biblical tilt they could squeeze out of the movie. Which, I didn't really think about until now, is a LOT.

I think they just ruined the crappy disaster movie for me.

Damn it.

The best review I've seen yet described it as a disaster movie made by Scientologists, which--I mean, if you've seen it, it's freakishly accurate. Maybe rent it? IDK. I didn't hate it, so.

I thought it was terrible, but an enjoyable terrible, you know? It's kind of hard to like it when they blatantly advertise the annoyingly religious angle I was trying to ignore, though. *eyeroll*
