A few random bits

1. The other day, my mom recounted to a guy from work that when I was four, I used to be able to spell "Binghamton" backwards and forwards and everybody thought it was adorable. I completely forgot about that. Heh.

2. Yesterday when I stopped at Target, I wandered into the paperback aisle to browse and spotted at least three Harlequins with the word "virgin" in the title. Apparently I'd be having much better luck with my sex life if I lived in a Harlequin novel.

3. Re: tonight's TAR -- OMG Margie. *flails* Luke had to be terrified, poor thing.

4. On Extreme Makeover Home Edition, they're re-doing the home of a family that takes care of wild cats and other creatures that have been abandoned or hurt by their owners. This is more than a little awesome, although I may have to rewatch the bits I'm going to miss thanks to TAR later.

5. Speaking of things I have to watch later, The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency is premiering tonight on HBO and I really want to see it. I'll have to watch it later after I get the first chapter of Blood Red Carpet done, which should be tonight if I'm lucky. *crosses fingers*

I'm glad you mentioned The No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency. I watched all the making-of stuff but I hadn't realized the show itself premiered tonight. I'm really looking forward to it.

I didn't even know about it until a few days ago, but hey, strong female characters and a show set in Africa? I'm THERE :)

The look on Luke's face was positively heartbreaking. I would hope they've got someone versed in ASL on staff just in case something happens to her.

Hell, giving them a camera or sound guy who speaks it would be the definition of a good idea.
