There's an absolutely adorable internet cafe that opened up a block from my house. And I'm there right now.

I should just write a goodbye letter to my family now and and stave off the inevitable heartbreak that'll come when I never, ever leave.

OTHER EDIT: I would have killed for a place like this during the winter. Oh, please still be open come this winter, cute wee little internet cafe with comfy chairs and yummy sammiches and baked goods and bookshelves. I will come visit you and drink tea in you and read books in you and call you George. *snuggles inappropriately with a building*

One should never underestimate the awesome that is a good internet cafe. We had one down the road when I was at uni and it served THE most awesome vegan and vegetarian food and we spent WAY too much time there, we really should have been paying rent or something.

Supposedly, but so far they haven't charged me a dime. Then again, to be fair, I only brought the computer the first day -- I've been editing there since then, which only requires my manuscript, a red pen, a notebook, and my MP3 player.

Oooh, I was just wondering as I thought maybe they got their money from the food and drink people would purchase when sitting there with the internet. Do people pay for the wireless password or something?
