Here is why my cafe is made of muffins and sunshine.

So I noticed the cafe, which has comfy couches and chairs and things in addition to the booths, also has bookshelves which they had a few used books on. I had two paper grocery bags full of books so I gave the books to them to put on the shelves.

It didn't occur to me until after I gave them the books that one of the books was one full of these amazing old photos of tattoos, and I couldn't remember for the life of me if there were nekkid people in it.

When I went there this morning, the owner came over and thanked me for the books, and she apparently loved the tattoo one. She made a passing remark about some of the pictures being of nekkid people, then waved a hand and said, "Psh, it's art, and it's COOL."

One of these days I'm going to go there just to read, rather than lugging along my manuscript to edit. It's just going to be me, the big squishy couch in the front window, a large cup of chai, a good book, and my swelling dorkitude.
