apocalypsosWatching "Pirates of the Caribbean" knowing full well that Johnny got an Oscar nomination for the role gives me new faith in the Academy. Because, dude, the silly is everywhere.

girlwithjournal's fic, the more I'm getting rewarded. I mean, Jack's running away, Elizabeth's flung herself into Norrington's arms, and instead of taking one look at the extremely pretty girl in his arms, he can't take his eyes off Jack's ass.
Not that I blame him. Of course, I think it says something that if I had #2 on my Get Out of Heterosexuality Free list in my arms and Johnny Depp right over me, I would be emotionally torn, whereas Norrington only has eyes for Jack.
