Why did I leave on "Trading Spaces Family"? Why?! Not only are they letting Kia and Hildi warp fragile young minds at the same time, but Kia's upholstering the wall in red naugahyde and Hildi's painting the kitchen a lovely shade of "Papa Smurf died for your design, damn you!"

Watching "Inside the Actor's Studio" with Tom Cruise. Good dancing Jesus in a bikini ... it's wrong to lick the TV screen, right? Please tell me that strange crackling sensation on my tongue's just our incredible chemistry coming through the cable lines. Right? Right?!

So, yeah. My supervisor called today. Apparently, she's been out sick the past two days with walking pneumonia, which doesn't exactly bode well for her chances of coming in for the rest of the week. And who's the only one who knows how to do her job? That's right ... me. I mean, I know I need extra money, but if they think I'm doing any longer than ten hour days for a week, they're officially out of their gourds.

Oh, yeah, and you folks who volunteered to take a peek at a few chapters of my story? Give me a little while. My laptop's decided that today's a good day for spastic coronaries. Ugh.

EDIT: Yay! Story chapters officially emailed. Now I can slack off on the computer for at least another ... aw, man, I have to go into work early tomorrow, don't I? *headwall*
