You know how they want to make an American version of "The Office" because some people are too dense to make it past the British accents and it's generally a very, very baaaaad idea? Well, guess who they want to cast as David Brent - Steve Correll, from the Daily Show.

Please don't make me think anything about this is a good idea. I beg you. (But ... but ... Steve Correll would make a perfect --) Shut up!

Oh, and if this is going to be the only song I'm going to be able to dance to on Oscar night, then damn it, that's disappointing. Of course, maybe they keep from nominating songs that move any faster than the speed of Jell-O to keep the Academy members's snacks from dissolving. Must buy this soundtrack ... and also see the movie, wherever the hell it's playing.

You know, last night, because of the bad weather, I got a ride home from my boss and Private Asshat. The subject of the Captain came up, and both of them said they didn't like him, either. Let me repeat that. The boss said he doesn't like Captain Asshat. Now, if no one likes this guy, why is he still working there?

Gyah. I want to call in sick today, but I don't think they'd buy that after me showing up for ten hours yesterday. Think they'd buy mildly comatose? I'd try calling in dead, but I don't think I'm up for producing that smell.

So now that you have some idea of what this entails, if you want to join in, just give me a heads-up in the comment as to your fandoms so that I know which characters to put on the list. (And if you know I'm not in the fandom, it'd really help if you'd tell me a specific character name or names you want to write.)
