So I'm back home in PA and I now have a kitten in my lap. Otis is beyond Teh Cute. He's also nibbling all the flesh off my freakin' arm. *wishes he wasn't all rolypoly and fuzzy and cute 'cause it makes it that much harder to whap him on the butt when he's being bad*

Also, it's nice to know my parents are as sick of the Reagan coverage as I am. My mom turned to my dad when she came downstairs and said, "It's a national day of mourning today. And at noon, it'll be a national day of afternoon." *eye roll*

I suppose I should have known that her sense of humor was broken when she was flipping through the newspaper and excitedly told my father, "Hey, Garfield is in the movie theater!"

Just got back from my brother's graduation. Not altogether hellish, even though the speeches were typically naive and the small child behind us who wouldn't shut up should have been smothered with a pillow along with the idiot parents who kept encouraging him.

The funniest bit was when the seniors sang the alma mater. My mother warned me they were going to sing it to the tune of the Kellerman's song from "Dirty Dancing," but I died laughing anyway. I don't think I can be blamed for leaning over and asking my mom between giggles, "Isn't this the part where a guy in a leather jacket shows up and tells you nobody puts me in a aisle seat?"

EDIT: Just spent the last hour clearing tons of spyware from my brother's computer. Whoever came up with spyware should be horse-whipped ... preferably with entire horses.
