I hereby declare February Finish My Goddamn Novel Month, because, damn it, I'm going to finish The Monsters of Minooka this month if it kills me. I've only got ... what, twenty chapters to finish? Too easy, drill sergeant, too easy. (Bye, free time! Bon voyage! Don't forget to write!)

In other news, a buffalo that escaped from an auction ended up in a dressing room at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center where it spent a couple of hours staring into a mirror. Hee. That's such a cute mental image.

The American Nazi Party has volunteered to pick up trash along a quiet stretch of rural road in Oregon state, causing an uproar after getting a sign placed there crediting its work. 'Cause, see, the rampant bigotry and ignorance is okay because they're picking up garbage. (I wonder if they ever get confused when told to pick up trash and simply jump into the garbage bags.)

Orlando Bloom and Kate Bosworth have broken up. Hence the happy squeals of excited fangirls you've heard from across the country, as if any of these people have a chance with him. (Except for the happy Orlando fans on my friends list. I'm pulling for you guys! ;P)

Updated my DVD list again. I'm pretty sure it's up to date, but I need to buy another DVD stand again. *eye roll*

Also, in two minutes, it will officially be Groundhog Day. If that little bastard doesn't decide we're getting an early spring, I reserve the right to make disparaging remarks about the annoying rodent. Or at the very least, I reserve the right to savor the fact that early spring or not, Punxatawney is still an armpit.
