Yesterday Stupid Bill O'Reilly Comment (which I didn't get to post yesterday and which I'll boil down because it took him five whole minutes of rambling and "dramatic pauses" to get there):

Hilary Clinton supports Down Syndrome babies being aborted at almost full-term, just like the Nazis!

...

I suppose framing Godwin's law and sending it to him would still not work, huh?

(I do have to admit, though, that I found it highly amusing when he and his guest were ranting about what Howard Dean said about the Republican party, he said something like, "You know who's to blame for all this?", and the guest said in this rather tired voice, "You're not going to say Hilary Clinton, are you?" *snerk*)

Yay! I knew something good would come out of having to leave work early sooner or later, and in the thirty minutes I had to sit around and wait for the second bus to show up at the metro, I got the rest of the monster ficathon entry of doooooooom plotted out in detail and got myself some color by sitting in the sun in the process! Wheee! :) (By the way, [livejournal.com profile] ladybug218, thank you sooooo much for beta-ing that first part. I've been meaning to say something since I got the email, but I haven't even gotten to look the beta over yet because I've been that exhausted the past few days.)

Also, you know that commercial where the guy is sitting on the bus and he turns on his music and the Black-Eyed Peas start singing and dancing to the music right there in front of him? Hugh Jackman's version of "I Go To Rio" keeps popping onto my Zen on the bus, and I swear to God I've been looking for that magic button for weeks.

DaVinci's Notebook?! Dude, I know what I'm doing Sunday! *bounces up and down happily*

[livejournal.com profile] penmage, thank you soooooo much! Now I have new stuff to listen to and new stuff to read. I'm all contented-like. :)

In other news, I finally got around to watching Napoleon Dynamite.

... ooo-kay.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] taraljc did that fandom meme and broke it down into fandoms that fic has been written for, fandoms that fic hasn't been written for, etc. Which amuses me, because it made me look at the list of fandoms I've written fic for -- Highlander, Terminator, X-Men movieverse, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jake 2.0, Charmed, My Secret Identity, The Tomorrow People (New Series), Lost, Veronica Mars, The 4400, Desperate Housewives, The Sixth Sense, The Shawshank Redemption, and Dead Like Me. Sheesh, I'll just write fic for a fandom at the drop of a hat, won't I? *snerk*
