I just saw a skit from an SNL rerun where Paris Hilton and the female cast members were geeky sex line girls who got guys off over the phone by talking in Star Wars, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings terms.

And there was a Storm in the background.

And then Paris Hilton ended the whole thing by putting on a floppy hat and a long scarf and talking in a "sexy" voice about her TARDIS.

...

I just ... I didn't need to see that before bedtime.

Yay! I double-checked with the TV Guide listings, and it turns out it was just like I thought back home -- they still don't have UPN, so they show new episodes of UPN shows on the WB on Saturday night. So I won't have to worry about Veronica Mars conflicting with Lost, although I will have to avoid everybody else's VM spoilers for a few days. But I think I can handle that if it means I won't miss my shows. :)

Am currently watching Big Daddy. I excuse myself by pointing out Jon Stewart's in it.

EDIT: I'm watching the Little League world series games, and this one kid should be in the majors. You should see the home run he just hit. Daaaaaaaaaaamn.

ANOTHER EDIT: I have yet to see a boy in this game listed as being smaller than me. Hmm. That's a little depressing. Understandable, but depressing.
