apocalypsos: (so drunk)
Me and Dean and our hopeless Sudoku addictions. Heh.

Everybody's whinging about the S2 spoilery icons that went up. And I totally get it and sympathize, but personally, I keep wondering why the hell people who are absolutely positively spoiler-free keep catching this stuff before people like me who don't care about whether or not they see spoilers. If that's not an Internet law already, it should be.

Not that I'm searching them out or anything, but still. I'm not nearly as voracious with SPN as I was with Buffy, where I'd go nuts searching for spoilers. I think I'm a little less aggressive about going after SPN spoilers because I'm afraid I'll get irritated. God only knows why -- it's not like spoilers that piss me off (or don't) will end up turning into plotlines I'll hate (or won't). Look at Cassie. That was the first real spoiler I ever stumbled onto for SPN and I thought she sounded really awesome. And then. *sighs*

I've still got fic recs piling up in my bookmarks. I'll get around to posting them eventually. *crosses fingers*

I've really been feeling the urge lately to write Veronica Mars fic again. Particularly Mac/Dick fic, which ... honestly, I don't get my brain. I've really got to see the episodes I missed from season two, though. Which is pretty much every thing from One Angry Veronica and after, if I'm remembering correctly. Well, five day weekend. Time to start downloading. :)

Speaking of five-day weekends, I will be broke and stuck at home this weekend thanks to an appalling lack of money. Give me drabble prompts to write tomorrow? *bats eyelashes* Yes, I'm actually going to try to restrain myself to about a hundred words. Be shocked. SPN, VM (up to a point, obviously), Heroes (although there's not much for me to go on just yet), XMM, Project Runway RPF ... you guys know my fandoms. ;)

I've still got those five things lists to play with, too. Wheeeeee!

In closing, I wish I were as drunk as my icon. Thank you, and goodnight. Please tip your waitress.

Say what you will, but I'm in love with the fact that Casey Junior's response to Santorum's mudslinging ad includes among it's "Why Santorum's a Tool" arguments (as in, the bad things he's done in his job) that Santorum votes with Bush 98% of the time.

EDIT: That Italian festival in Down The Line From Nowhere? It's going on this weekend. WOOHOO! Granted, there's not a lot to do there but eat, but MY GOD, THE FOOD. *swoons*
