Guess who finally got all of the first two seasons of BSG downloaded?

Aw, yeah, baby, that's right. *smug face* Granted, I'm not allowed to watch any of it until after I get all of my writing done, but STILL. New fandom, here I come. *rubs hands together in anticipation*

Speaking of which, twenty-seven thousand words in four days. Sure, I can do that. Think I should start drinking the vodka now or later? Oh, and I haven't written fanfic in something like four weeks. I can tell because the tremors have stopped and I don't have the inexplicable urge to chain smoke anymore. You know what I need to write on December first? Hardcore gay incest porn with every kink known to man and a few kinks that would make man go, "Wow, I didn't even know that shit was possible OR legal." Turns out, I have just the fandom for that! ;)

Okay, enough typing. I need to go to bed and maybe watch an episode of Dexter before I do. This whole catching-up-with-fandom thing would be a hell of a lot easier if I could bring my Zen to work. *sigh*

Hilariously awful ...

Yup, that's how I'd describe the episode of CSI Miami I'm watching right now, and it's not even five minutes into it. But the redeeming factor is that Sean Maher is in it looking very hot, so I've got that going for me. Oh, and look! Maggie Grace is in this one, too. Heh. (It's about spring break. I never actually went on spring break once. This is like when I watch movies with scenes set at a prom, yet another rite of passage I skipped out on.)

BSG is almost totally downloaded onto my Zen. Wheeeeee! God knows when I'll get to watch it but at least I have it, which is a start.

So my dad found a nice used car for me, which is cool. My mother dragged me off to look at it, although why is beyond me since so far all I've been able to say is, "Looks good," and my parents seem to be the one shooting the car down or picking it out. Eh, whatever. It runs, it works for me. I'm not picky. I'll get picky when I can actually afford a shiny new car, although I probably won't know much more about cars then. So hopefully I can get it on my days off, although affording it is another matter.

I've also gotten a chance to see this week's Grey's Anatomy, too. ( Spoilers )
