Yuletide recs, part one

Well, I think I've killed ... what, five hours now ... hanging out on the Yuletide site reading through stories starting from the bottom of the fandom list just to be contrary. Heh.

There were a few Sahara recs I didn't get to read through just yet, but one of them looks really long and if I read that one I'll have to read the other two and ... well, they can wait. I want to work on getting my stupid MP3 player to work right, so I'm stepping away from the fics for a while.

EDIT: I know it's the first day and all, but I'm still a little thrown that the stocking stuffers I threw together at the last minute on four Smirnoffs are getting better reception than the longer fics I worked really hard on while sober. HEE.

Did I mention that my family continues to not believe me when I tell them I don't get hangovers? Hey, I've got to make up for my lack of tolerance somehow, and if it's sleeping like a baby and waking up perfectly fine after getting drunk are my present then I'll sooooo take it. :)

I'm not sure why I'm doing it this year ...

... when I didn't do it last year, when last year I only wrote one story and this year I wrote four and I'm kind of asking for it, but I'm still going to do it just for kicks.

So guess which Yuletide fics I wrote and I'll write a ficlet in the fandom of your choice, just as long as I know it. (And yes, I know I've still got request fics I've got to write. I'm going to try to get them written in the next few weeks.)

This should be interesting, especially considering that if the response is any indication, I'm the only one who can see my original recipient's story. *snickers*
