A nonspoilery reaction to finally getting to see the rest of this week's "Office" episode.

There is a chocolate factory about a ten-minute drive from the place where Dunder-Mifflin is theoretically located, and one day a year they give tours of the plant and you get all sorts of freebies.

If that doesn't become an episode, it should at least become a fanfic.

EDIT: Oh, man, see this? I am NOT ALLOWED to enter. NO. No fashion design for me! *whimpers*

Heh. Way to get the point, Dad.

The phone conversation I just had with my dad:

Me: Oh, you have to watch Ugly Betty. You'd love that.
Dad: Okay. (pause) Why is she ugly?
Me: Because some people are just not pretty, Dad.
Dad: No, I mean, why is she ugly on purpose?
Me: She's not ugly on purpose. She just has bad hair and braces and bad clothes and meat on her bones. It's not like she's doing it on purpose.
Dad: *hesitant* ... okay.
Me: *headdesk*

I guess my brain isn't working because "But she's pretty on the INSIDE, that's the point" didn't occur to me until after I hung up. *sigh*

A few things:

-- Fine, I signed up for novel_in_90. Happy? (I'm not going to start writing until midnight, though. I've got some prep I've still got to work on tonight, like ... oh, plot and characters and setting and mythology.)
-- I'm coming up with spn_j2_bigbang ideas that no doubt will be Jossed by the finale. But whatever will make me write a 20k story, man.
-- I need to win the Powerball if only so that I can buy every book listed in this post. *covets* The best part is that I'm pretty sure I'd have to keep the books hidden so that my mom the amateur criminologist wouldn't find them. Heh.
-- I've been wearing my "Every time you see a rainbow, God is having gay sex" shirt all day long, although unfortunately I haven't really gone anywhere.
-- Go Fug Yourself's gotten to the Golden Globes outfits. My particular favorite is the comments in regards to Beyonce's outfit, because she's undeniably a gorgeous woman, but ... yeah, seriously, the gold and the slit and the weave and COME ON.
-- My current annoyance is that the local theaters aren't showing Pan's Labyrinth. GRRR.
-- I'm still debating whether or not to do that Ugly Betty contest. On one hand it'd be a lot of fun since God knows I wouldn't win, but on the other hand I haven't drawn anything since high school.
